Xbox LIVE is launching a beta version of its new game show 1 vs 100 exclusively in Canada.  The beta begins May 8, 2009, and runs through May 24, 2009.

Skill-based prizing will be a feature of 1 vs 100 when released, but is not functional in the Canadian Beta. Although they can still win some prizes in 1vs100 Sweepstakes for a chance to win real prizes, including an Acer Aspire laptop, a Xbox 360 prize pack, and Xbox LIVE Arcade games.

1vs100 is a two-hour game with a live host in which players may be selected for high-profile roles like the Mob and The One. 1vs100 Extended Play is a fast-paced, half-hour show—the more you play, the better your chances of being picked as the Mob or The One in 1vs100 LIVE!

1vs100 on Xbox LIVE will launch its Season One in North America and Europe in Spring of 2009.
